Review the restaurant page with enlarged text

Guests may enlarge text or browse on a narrow screen to make a page easier to read.

01

The decision this workflow supports

Guests may enlarge text or browse on a narrow screen to make a page easier to read. A practical review checks whether the important restaurant information and inquiry controls remain usable rather than merely looking attractive at one size.

02

Put the review process in place

Enlarge the browser view and inspect hours, menu links and form instructions. Record clipped text, overlapping buttons or hidden controls with the exact page and setting. Ask the maintainer to fix the observed issue, then repeat the same guest task to confirm the result.

03

Worked example for your team

On a fictional restaurant contact page, enlarge the browser view until the layout changes. Try to read the full request-status explanation and reach the submit button. If a fixed banner covers the button or a column clips the contact instructions, record the page, device and setting. The maintainer should correct the specific obstruction and repeat the task at the same setting. Avoid treating one successful screen size as a complete review. The purpose is to preserve the guest’s ability to understand and complete the actual inquiry journey.

04

Sample wording to approve

“Test scenario: enlarge the page, find the current service hours, then locate the catering inquiry and its pending-request explanation. The test succeeds only if those tasks remain understandable and reachable.” This wording is a draft for the restaurant owner to approve before use.

05

Fields for the staff handoff

Staff need page, device or viewport, zoom setting, obscured content, and repair owner. Mark uncertain details explicitly and keep the requested action separate from anything restaurant staff have already confirmed.

06

Acceptance tests before use

Important wording remains readable. Controls do not overlap the request explanation. The same task succeeds after the maintainer’s correction. Record the observed result, assign any mismatch, and repeat the affected scenario after correction.
